The Greater Lansing Chinese Association (GLCA, 兰辛华人协会) is organized exclusively for charitable and community service purposes. These purposes include but not limited to the following:

(1) To promote diversity and mutual understanding among Chinese community and other local communities in Greater Lansing area.
(2) To hold community educational forums and community festivals, open to the public at large, where Chinese culture and traditions are discussed and presented to educate the public on Chinese culture and tradition in order to promote diversity and understanding among different cultural and ethnic groups in the community, industry, business, local government and other non-profit entities, including Michigan State University.
